I hesitated buying this stem wondering would it work, was it a waste of money but I’ve had three off road rides with my new stem and I love it. I usually get pins and needles in my hands after riding for a while but that’s gone now. Added to the comfort is the improved handling on bumpy tracks and roads. I can ride a corrugated road now without feeling like I will get shaken off the bike. Very happy.

I just finished my first ride with the Resdhift Shockstop Suspension Stem and I noticed the difference immediately. Having ridden for many years with rigid front ends (I’m 64) I now wish I had discovered this earlier in my life. The chatter that it removes from my wrists, arms and shoulders is easily noticed. This experience has been so good that now I’m considering the seatpost Redshift offers as well. The interesting thing for me is that I’ve promoted and sold these products for years based upon input from others. I just didn’t think I needed one myself. Get yourself one! You’ll never go back.

Wow, once I got the fit dialed on this seat post I thoroughly understood why everyone was upgrading their set ups with these products. Riding a long distances is what I do for fun and for a living and this seatpost made all the difference in the world. Pay attention to the recommended Sag settings as its key to finding comfort and keeping a proper pedaling extension. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Nearly 60 and coming from MTB to gravel rides that are all about big day on tarmac to single track. The pros, extremely well made and just provide a world of comfort. On off road climbs it means I can stay in the saddle and keep traction. Suddenly hits don’t get you knocked off balance. Cons, fiddly to set up there is a lot of movement so takes some fettling to get damping and saddle / reach right. Took a couple of rides to nail. Wish I had bought the 90mm shock stop stem now instead of the 100 mm straight swap. Think will have to look at the bars to get some rise and sweep Top gear if that’s what your looking for ( also fitted 14ltr seat post saddle bag fine)

This is some of the best money I have ever spent. Put both the seat post and stem shock on a Specialized Divergent gravel bike. It turned a good bike into a great one. First ride out was 55 miles of dirt and gravel. I am 65 so discomfort is a part of everyday life. This has reduced the numbness in my wrists and hands by at least 70%. Also reduced the discomfort in my neck and lower back a similar amount. I only wish I would have done this sooner. If you are looking for a way to make your riding more enjoyable, this is it. My wife even let me put the shock post on her gravel bike. She is a hard core/tuff it out rider who puts in between 8-10,000 miles per year. It is a fantastic product we feel will extend our years on a bike.

CanadaTakes the bumps out of my forest trail-commute
I commute 15km on forested trails, mix of some gravel but mostly uneven dirt trails with rocks and roots, and after about 2 weeks or 150km of this I am really happy with my new seat post. The difference is immediately noticeable, but still subtle. So it didn’t change my ride much, but just made it more comfortable. It was also easy to install and the service and advice about the model were both great.
